‘Arctic’ Trailer: Mads Mikkelsen Plays A Stranded Man In Joe Penna’s Survival Thriller

deadline-hollywood-logo-oHere’s the official U.S. trailer for Mads Mikkelsen survival drama-thriller Arctic, which debuted at the Cannes Film Festival last year. Director Joe Penna will be doing a live chat with fans this morning.

In the well-received title, The Hunt and Doctor Strange star Mikkelsen plays a man stranded in the Arctic after an airplane crash. He must decide whether to remain in the relative safety of his makeshift camp or embark on a perilous trek through the unknown in hopes of making it out alive. Debut feature director Penna scripted with Ryan Morrison.

We spoke to Penna and Mikkelsen about the feature during Cannes. Bleecker Street will release the PG-13 pic in the U.S. from February 1. Additional territories are rolling out this winter.
