‘Grace And Frankie’ Renewed For Season 6 By Netflix

They’ll be back. Grace and Frankie will return for a sixth season in 2020 on Netflix. The internet network announced the renewal Tuesday, three days ahead of the Season 5 premiere. Pre-production on Season 6 is currently underway.

In Grace and Frankie, Jane Fonda (Grace) and Lily Tomlin (Frankie) star as two women whose lives are turned upside down when their husbands reveal they are gay and leave them for each other. Both sparring partners and partners-in-crime, Grace and Frankie form an unlikely and unbreakable bond and face their uncertain futures head-on, hand-in-hand. Together with ther ex-husbands and children, they discover the true definition of “family,” with laughter, tears and pilenty of mood enhancers along the way.

Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris created the series and exec produce alongside Paula Weinstein, John Hoffman, Billy Finnegan, Robbie Tollin, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Marcy Ross.
