‘Line Of Duty’ Trailer: Aaron Eckhart Out For Redemption While Being Livestreamed 24/7
We see that it was a legit shoot; the cop had a pistol raised on him. But the police chief’s kid has been abducted, and that cop is told he “shot the only lead that we had.” Circumstances be damned.
Here’s the new trailer for Line of Duty, starring Aaron Eckhart as Frank Penny, the disgraced officer who’s looking for a shot at redemption. When the chief’s 11-year-old daughter is kidnapped, Penny goes rogue to try and save her. But to find the girl, he’ll need the help of Ava Brooks (Courtney Eaton), whose live-streaming news channel is broadcasting Penny’s every move. While a city watches, the cop and the reporter race against time.
One extra detail we get from the trailer is Penny saying, “It’s not about Claudia — this is personal.”
Jessica Lu, Dina Meyer, Ben McKenzie and Giancarlo Esposito also star in the film from director Steven C. Miller. Jeremy Drysdale wrote the script, and Myles Nestel, Craig Chapman and Skip Williamson produce the pic from Hassik Films, the Solution Entertainment Group and Sprockefeller Pictures.
Line of Duty opens November 15 day-and-date in theaters via Saban and on VOD from lionsgate. Check out the trailer above and the poster below, and tell us what you think.
