Audio Film Review: ‘Bob Trevino Likes It’ Makes the Connection

John Leguizamo is Bob Trevino, a nebbishy housing inspector who lives in a sad marriage, motivated by a tragedy that hasn’t been reconciled. He is pinged on social media by Lily Trevino (Barbie Ferreira), no relation, who connected to him because she thought he may have been her father Robert Trevino (French Stewart), with whom she has a difficult and lonely relationship. Through this happenstance Bob & Lily become friends, and in their time together find a sense of themselves through each other.

”Bob Trevino Likes it” is in select theaters (see local listings) beginning March 28th. Featuring John Leguizamo, Barbie Ferreira, French Stewart, Rachel Bay Jones and Lolo Spencer. Written and directed by Tracie Laymon. Rated “PG-13”
